Podcast History
2013 Podcast Launch
It started as a way to give Salesforce Admins a literal voice. So that everyone could hear about the dedication and commitment to providing low-code and no code solutions as a way to build your professional career. Very quickly I added executive guests from large Salesforce partners and Salesforce Leadership.
2013 Podcast Logo Update
With the explosive growth of the podcast and the accompanying blog I updated the logo to give a consistent and recognizable brand across all platforms. The podcast also added Executives and Developers as a target audience.
2014 Podcast Logo Update
In 2014, I joined the Salesforce Evangelist team and brought the podcast with me. We gave it a new logo but the focus on Salesforce Admins remained true. I also changed the co-host to Gillian Bruce.
2016 Podcast Brand Update
For 2016 we transitioned ButtonClickAdmin.com to Admin.Salesforce.com. Along with the transition, the podcast brand was updated to reflect the new positioning.
2018 Podcast Logo Update
2018 saw explosive growth of the podcast. Gillian Bruce took over as main host and updated the show to twice-a-week. Along with this change we hit a major milestone of 500,000 downloads and surpassed over 440 episodes.
2020 Podcast Logo Update
For 2020 the content focused shifted to positioning Salesforce Admins as the experts. Episodes are now geared at sharing best practices, expert advice, and how-to’s to empower Admins to learn from each other.
The podcast also surpassed 1 Million Downloads, doubling it’s growth in only 2 years.
